TOEFL Registration

It can be easy to lose track of the TOEFL registration process while applying to an MBA a program. While the process is relatively simple, it is important to pay attention to detail. There are a few important steps to take when registering for the exam.

First, you must obtain a copy of the TOEFL iBT Information Bulletin. The bulletin is free and contains important information on how to schedule a test date, test fees, and the identification requirements you will need on the day of the exam. If you have internet access, the easiest way to get the bulletin is to download it at the TOEFL web site. If you wish, you can have the bulletin mailed to you.

After familiarizing yourself with the information in the bulletin, go to the TOEFL website and follow the link to register for the test. You will need to view the list of test centers and find the one that is most convenient for you. When scheduling the test date, make sure you check your schedule carefully for any conflicting obligations. If you wish, you can register by phone or mail. The test will take about four hours not including time spent driving to and from the test location. When registering for the test, make sure you fill in the required information carefully- you do not want to make a mistake that could cause you to be turned away on the day of the test.

It is also a good idea to drive the route to the testing facility a couple days before the exam, so that a simple wrong turn or construction project does not interfere with your testing. For more information on TOEFL Registration click here.
